Our Story
From the Depths of the Sea to the Art of Curated Journeys
Our story began in 1987. What started as a small store specializing in fishing and hunting equipment soon evolved, driven by a deep passion for the sea. Within a few years, the business transformed into Extreme Divers, focusing on diving activities and the sale of diving equipment.
As the diving community grew, the company began organizing diving trips and expeditions for enthusiasts, both in Greece and abroad. The sea was always at the center of everything.
Throughout this journey, George has always been more than the owner. He has been — and continues to be — the captain himself, personally guiding guests at sea, ensuring safety and sharing his deep knowledge of hidden coves, quiet anchorages and authentic Greek coastal life.
Over the years, one thing became clear: travelers were looking for more than activities. They were seeking authentic experiences and meaningful moments. At the same time, Ioanna — with academic studies in Tourism Management and Economics and professional experience in travel consulting and operations — brought structure, planning expertise and a deeper vision for personalized travel design. But she also carried with her something equally powerful: a lifelong love for exploring the world. Having travelled across many countries and cultures, she understands travel not as a profession but as a way of living — a continuous search for the unexpected, the authentic and the unforgettable.
The natural next step was clear. MyDaysInAthens was created as the evolution of everything that came before. From diving expeditions, to private sea journeys, to carefully curated travel experiences across Greece and worldwide.
