Make the most of your time in Greece with this private round-trip cruise to Poseidon Temple at Sounio Cape. Enjoy the time on the cruise to the temple, about 43 miles (69 kilometers) southeast of Athens. Spend some time at the temple, the second most visited ancient site after the Acropolis in Athens. And then take some time to go swimming in the sea or snorkeling.

What to expect

This private round-trip tour starts with a pickup with our air-conditioned minivan from your hotel in Athens to Lagonissi, where you will board the rib boat. While your captain sails the boat, passing fast the stunning coast line of Attica, sit back and relax or simply soak up the sun.

We head to Arsida and Pothitos, Fleves or Patroklos – small uninhabited islands with remote sandy beaches, where you can swim, snorkel or just relax. At Arsida island you will have the chance to snorkel and swim at its cave. We will show you the magnificent sea world of Athens, one of the safest seas in the world without dangerous marine life and strong currents.
Our crew holds a professional underwater camera and – if you wish – we will make sure that all your memories will be recorded and given to you at the end of the tour – free of charge!

A scuba dive or a “discover scuba” program can be also arranged if you wish, at an extra cost. Complimentary snacks and fresh fruit are offered onboard.

After enjoying the sun and the sea, we board the rib or the minivan (depending on the weather) and head to Sounio and the Poseidon temple. There you will explore the ruins and admire the stunning views.

After the visit to the temple, we head back to your hotel with the minivan.
